During induction
The induction process is a mix of support and monitoring and ECTs will be assessed against the Teachers’ Standards.
All paperwork for the ECT induction process can be found in the resources section of ECT Manager
All ECTs must have
timetable remission (10% in Year 1, 5% in Year 2)
regular meetings with a tutor / mentor
a programme of support underpinned by the Early Career Framework
All ECTs should
be actively engaged in the process
gather evidence of their progress
make appropriate use of their timetable remission
